The Ypsilanti-Washtenaw Housing Corporation is a Michigan nonprofit organization established to expand access to safe, stable, and affordable housing in the Ypsilanti-Washtenaw County area. The organization is wholly owned by the Ypsilanti Housing Commission and was created to support low- and moderate-income households, older adults, people with disabilities, and others facing housing barriers.
Our work is focused on strengthening housing opportunities through the acquisition, rehabilitation, development, and responsible operation of affordable housing. We also support housing education by helping individuals better understand homeownership, financing, property maintenance, and other aspects of securing and maintaining quality housing.
Through partnerships with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, foundations, and community stakeholders, we seek to use our housing expertise and resources to support residents and contribute to stronger, more sustainable communities.
